Very excited to take a fresh step back into my weight loss routine. Goals are still the same: to lose enough weight that my knees stop hurting, to feel more mobile and limber, to feel stronger, and finally, to get back into some of my super cute clothes that have been languishing away at the back of the closet.
My plan for today is simple: Eat better, Eat less, Move more, Drink more water. I think that is a reasonable and accomplishable goal.
Food Plan looks like this:
Breakfast: Smoothie with berries, almond milk, yogurt.
Lunch: Healthy Choice meal (processed but I need to use these up as I am not a fan of throwing food away in this economy!). The meal is a lemon chicken thing that I LOVE. I’ll have a Fuji apple with it.
Snack: Jello sugar free chocolate mousse.
Pre-workout snack: Pumpkin flax seed granola bar.
Dinner: If I am exhausted after my workout, it will be a Subway sandwich with no cheese or mayo. If I am feeling like dealing with food, I’ll steam some veggies and maybe do a tuna salad on the side.
I will try to drink at least 6 bottles of water today which comes out to 72 ounces. I know at least one of those will happen at the gym.
I weighed this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see I am not as heavy as I thought. I am at 289.6. That’s only 5 pounds heavier than my lowest weight. I’ll take it! Honestly, it isn’t about the numbers because I use those only as a reference point but I am happy to see that I am not back in the 290′s since it took SO long to break out of them!
