I’ve heard a lot of people lately talking about the Insanity workout and having had good results. One of my friends at work has been doing it and has already lost 30 pounds in the last 5 weeks. Those are some GREAT numbers!
From what I understand, the Insanity Workout really consists of several “sets” of high-intensity cardio movements such as Burpees, jumping jacks, and football runs. I don’t know if you’ve ever done a burpee but they are HELLISH!
I am definitely not in any kind of shape to do a prolonged workout regimen at this level of intensity but I think I might try to modify this to fit my needs. I’ll let you know how it goes, dear reader!
