I have to weigh-in tomorrow and I am retaining water like a MoFo!
Oh well, my hormones are in full swing and I am going into my weigh-in knowing that I am probably up on the scales. And this is where I say “It’s ok!”
This week has been really stressful at work and with some of my personal projects. Couple in some family stuff with a sick relative and it’s just overload! I know enough about myself to know that stress is my biggest trigger for overeating and avoiding the gym. And guess what? That is exactly what I did this week. I overate at least 3 times and avoided the gym for the last 4 days.
Funny the kind of excuses I can make for myself when I’d rather eat than work out. Let’s face it, going out to eat with friends is a lot more fun than working out. Or at least it is in my head because I’ve had a GREAT time working out at the gym before.
I do have a shiny new set of headphones that I am dying to try out so what better time to get back into the swing of things. I will be hitting my home gym today. I have a Nordictrack elliptical, a bike, and a treadmill in my library
Not much new to report. I’m swirling in my stress-eddy and will work on breaking that cycle!
